چکیده
In this study, nineteen different Streptomyces strains were isolated from oil-contaminated surface soil at Ataş Oil Terminal in Turkey. Biodegradation and Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism tests (RFLP) used for selecting isolates. The isolates belonging to the genus confirmed by 16S rDNA analysis. 1592r, 1492r, 800r, 518f, 27f primers chosen gene amplifying sequencing. Then 93-unit characters determine phenotypic, physiological, biochemical properties. All can degrade Tween 80, casein, gelatin, hypoxanthine, RNA, L-Tyrosine, elastin. Nevertheless, EL039, EL045, EL060 have better degradation potentials because of gave positive results eleven tests. According obtained results, EL037, could be a member S. albogriseolus, rochei, mutabilis, respectively, phylogenetic tree characterization indicated that especially, EL038, EL057 new members genus. We perceive would benefit biotechnological studies thanks enzyme potentials.

Diversity of Biosurfactant-producing Streptomyces Isolates from Hydrocarbon-contaminated Soil
Actinomycetes are unsurpassed as producers of bioactive metabolites, primarily those with antimicrobial/anticancer properties; however, their capacity for producing other natural products such as biosurfactants, has been less explored. Biosurfactants are heterogeneous surface active compounds and can be potentially deployed for bioremediation of hydrocarbons and as emulsifying agents in agricul...
متن کاملMicrobial mobilization of plutonium and other actinides from contaminated soil.
We examined the dissolution of Pu, U, and Am in contaminated soil from the Nevada Test Site (NTS) due to indigenous microbial activity. Scanning transmission x-ray microscopy (STXM) analysis of the soil showed that Pu was present in its polymeric form and associated with Fe- and Mn- oxides and aluminosilicates. Uranium analysis by x-ray diffraction (μ-XRD) revealed discrete U-containing mineral...
متن کاملBioremediation of Soil Contaminated by Diesel Oil
Were evaluated natural attenuation, biostimulation and bioaugmentation on the degradation of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) in soils contaminated with diesel oil. Bioaugmentation showed the greatest degradation in the light (C12 C23) fractions (72.7%) and heavy (C23 C40) fractions of TPH (75.2%) and natural attenuation was more effective than biostimulation. The greatest dehydrogenase activ...

Pyrene, a high molecular weight polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH), is a priority pollutant present in soil contaminated with crude oil, coal-tar and complex PAHs. Bacterial consortium CON-3 developed from crude oil contaminated soil of Patiala, Punjab (India) cometabolized 50 μg ml(-1) pyrene in the presence of glucose (0.5 %; w/v) at 30 °C, as determined by reverse-phase high performance l...
